Novyn ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Novyn platform at novyn.pstepanov.dev.

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
• Background and career data — work experience, skills, and education you enter into your profile.
• License key — your Gumroad license key used to activate your account.
• Usage data — how you interact with the platform, including job descriptions you paste and resumes you generate.
• Gemini API key — stored securely and used only to make requests on your behalf.

• To provide, operate, and improve the Novyn platform.
• To generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview prep using your background data.
• To verify your license and manage your account access.
• To sync data with your connected Notion workspace when configured.
• To respond to your support requests and communications.

Your Gemini API key is stored in our database and used exclusively to make AI generation requests on your behalf. We do not use your API key for any other purpose, share it with third parties, or use it to generate content outside of your Novyn session.

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Firebase is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with enterprise-grade security. Your career background data, generated resumes, and application history are stored per-user and accessible only to you.

Novyn integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API — used for AI content generation via your own API key.
• Notion API — used to sync your applications to your Notion workspace, only when you configure this integration.
• Gumroad — used to verify your license key at signup.
• Google Firebase — used for authentication and database storage.

We retain your data for the duration of your account. If you stop using Novyn and wish to have your data deleted, contact us at support@novyn.pstepanov.dev and we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days.

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your career background data.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, authenticated API access, and per-user data isolation. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Novyn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
